Wellness Screening FAQ
-
Why do I need to complete a wellness screening for my student?
The Department of Health (DOH) and Labor and Industries (L&I) require students and staff to receive a health screening before entering a school. DOH and L&I follow guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which allows for health screening to be performed at home before school or on-site. The wellness screening can be an at-home health attestation confirming the child or staff member does not have fever, shortness of breath, or cough.
