The second annual Empowered and Future Ready Conference will be held May 15, 2019 at South Sound High School. We are looking for dynamic speakers from the business community to put on engaging workshops for these alternative high school students related to specific career paths and general life and workplace skills. This year, we are also looking for approximately four professionals (one per time slot) interested in leading workshops related to self-care (i.e. mindfulness, yoga class, etc.) To be considered for a speaking position, please submit your application by filling out this form no later than April 15th.
Come and find out how well your student is doing at SSHS!
At South Sound High School, our motto is EVERYONE MATTERS and EVERYONE CARES. And it’s true! We are the alternative, choice high school for the district. Our students choose to come to SSHS, and they are an amazing bunch of young people, all working hard toward earning their diplomas!
An essential part of the NTPS community are our military families and this April we are encouraging everyone to wear purple on Fridays to show support and thank military-connected children for their strength and sacrifice. All over the District, from essay contests, ribbons, high fives, and more, we appreciate and celebrate these young heroes.
Calling all student artists! Enter your art in the Calendar Art Contest and see if your art is selected for the 2019-20 NTPS Wall Calendar! If selected, you'll win a gift card to Michael's Crafts! See the contest rules, and download your application and get creating!
