North Thurston Public Schools is partnering with the Thurston County Food Bank! From Monday, November 20th –Friday December 15th, there will be coin jars in each of our classrooms to collect money for the new branch of the Thurston County Food Bank. Our school wide goal is 500.00!
We welcome the father-figures of our students to serve all or part of a day as a WatchDog at our school.
In partnership with PTA, we are offering a series of parenting education classes this year, led by the wonderful Sarah Tracy, our former PTA president. The first of three classes focuses on communication and will be held November 15th, from 5:30-7:30. We are providing child care and a light dinner. There is no charge for the class and all are welcome.
NTPS is participating in a District-Wide compassionate community project to help families in need. We are collecting coins for the new Lacey Food Bank! Look for donation jars in the District Office and your school. Help us to help the Lacey Food Bank become a reality in our area. The Thurston County Food Bank is looking to open a Lacey branch and we want to help them make it a reality! Give a penny and help out!
