Meadows & Sensory Tool House

Students at a table making sensory bottles outside.

Meadows Elementary’s Partner in Education, Sensory Tool House, recently took part in the school’s Field Day. Sensory Tool House’s team volunteered their time to show students how to make individualized sensory bottles. They had a choice of glitter, sequins, beads, bands and food coloring. The sensory bottles are a self-regulation tool that can be used to help children who are feeling dysregulated by allowing them an opportunity to be still and focus or as a distraction from overstimulating events or environments. Thank you, Sensory Tool House!
