    Amazon helps with Salish's greenhouse

    Salish Middle School's Partner in Education (P.I.E.), Amazon, donated two solar-powered exhaust fans to the school's greenhouse to help keep it cool with less of an environmental impact. They have also donated flowers, blueberry bushes, bulbs, and soil. Thank you Amazon!

    Local business owner and former NTPS parent, John Grantham presented to students at Envision Career Academy the basics of running and managing a business. From marketing and sales to customer support and client relations, Grantham really emphasized the importance of “jumping in” to gain experience and “embracing the grind” when things get tough.

    Students at South Sound got to visit their Partner in Education, Batdorf & Bronson’s Tasting Room & Roastery where they got to sample a variety of coffees and learn about the major areas the coffee is grown such as Africa and Indonesia. Hands on learning, outside of the classroom!
