Extra Free & Reduced Meal Information

  • The U.S. Department of Agriculture has extended a waiver that allows us to serve free meals to all students enrolled in in-person learning through June, 2022.
This waiver covers one entree per student from either the elementary, middle or high school menu. The free meal waiver does not apply to milk-only or a la carte menu purchases. All meals are served with a milk, however, if the student only wants milk, and not the school lunch, they will be charged $.50 for the milk.
Example:  If a students brings their lunch from home and wants to get a milk to go with it, they will need to pay $.50 for the milk.
Example:  If a students wants an extra milk to go with their meal, they will need to pay an additional $.50 for the extra milk.
The USDA allows school districts to choose to be either on a special meals program or a special milk program. Our district has chosen the special meals program - which also covers milk with the meal.

Waiving ASB Fees

  • If your family qualifies for Free & Reduced Lunch prices, you can consent to have that status shared with our ASB offices at high schools and have a significant amount of your students' fees waived. The consent process will happen in Skyward Family Access.

Notes: Consent to share information is NOT retroactive. Fees are only waived after the form has been completed. Fees or fines assigned prior to submitting consent will remain on the student's ledger until paid. Skyward updates information every 24 hours.
