How to complete a transfer request

Need help completing your transfer request in Skyward Family Access? Use the video or step-by-step instructions below to help you along the process.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Log into Skyward Family Access

Select My Tasks & Processes in the upper right-hand corner.

Select the student you wish to apply for a transfer in the drop-down, and then click on Transfer Request under Complete Form.

Be sure to read the pop-up carefully, as it gives important instructions for later on in the process.

The Transfer Request Form will open in a new window that says Request, complete that form and click Complete and Review.

Review the information you entered, scroll to the bottom of the form, and check the box next to Confirm that all of the above information is correct to the best of my ability.

Scroll back to the top and click Submit Form.

Once you click Submit Form, you are returned to your Family Access home screen.

Navigate back to the original browser tab titled My Tasks & Processes.

Once back in the My Tasks & Processes tab, check the Done box and click Mark Step as Complete. This last step is very important. If you do not navigate back and complete it, your request will remain unfinished in your processes and will not be sent to the Transfers team for processing.

Mark Step as Complete in the original tab, must be clicked to complete the transfers submission.
