ParentSquare

Starting in fall 2025, NTPS will use a new family communication tool called ParentSquare.  

ParentSquare will be the place you receive district-wide emergency alerts and newsletters, school and classroom newsletters, and direct messages with school staff. ParentSquare will replace tools like Remind, School Messenger, Skyward Message Center, and other apps currently used for family communication. 

Unified communications 

ParentSquare is a platform that unifies all the different communications from the district and your child's school in one place. Messages from your student's classroom teacher, their athletic coaches, club advisors, school leadership, and district all come through ParentSquare. All messages are secure in one platform and families only need one login! 

Individual control 

Families can choose how the messages are delivered – select text messages, emails (including a daily digest format), phone calls, or app push notifications. Download the app for even more convenience and control! 

What's next? 

Starting in fall 2025, all district, school, grade level, and classroom information will be sent to your phone or email through ParentSquare.  

We will be sending an invitation to families in May. Please watch for an invitation email from “North Thurston Public Schools via ParentSquare” in May with instructions to activate your account!
