Professional Biography

  • I’ve been teaching middle school Language Arts since 1989 and have been at Komachin since 2001. I got my bachelor’s degree at Washington State University and my masters in Creative Arts and Learning through Lesley University. At Komachin I am the new librarian where I get to share my love of books and learning with the whole school.

  • The Library is open daily before school once the doors open for students to come into the building. Students can get a pass to come in at lunch. During Wolf Pack time in advisory on Tuesday or Thursday, the library is also open for student use, based on Wolf Pack criteria. Many students also get passes to use the library during their Language Arts class with their teacher's permission.
