Professional Biography

  • Teaching science is a career choice that I love. For the past 23 years, I have been lucky  to have had opportunities to work with students of all ages.  My teaching career began at Tumwater Middle School and then was  fortunate to  be select as part of  Komachin Middle School's Science team in 1992. In 1996, I transitioned to North Thurston High School. While at NTHS, I taught Integrated Science, Biology, and Chemistry. After teaching science at North Thurston High School for  four year, I was selected to work in the new TAG Programs as a 5th and 6th grade teacher at Pleasant Glade Elementary in 2000.  When the program transitioned to Lacey Elementary, I was excited to have another opportunity work with the amazing staff at Komachin as a Science teacher.
