In 1990, I received an Associate of Arts-Honors degree from Peninsula College in Port Angeles, Washington. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington in 1993. In 2000, I received a Master's degree in Educational Technology from City University. I have also studied at the University of Oregon, the University of California -Santa Barbara and in Morelia and Puebla, Mexico.I began my teaching career in 1994 at Battle Ground and Prairie High Schools for the Battle Ground School District. In 1997, I started working at North Thurston High School. I am currently teaching Spanish 2 and 3. During second semester, I teach a Spanish 103 which is a course sponsored by the University of Washington.
