I have been teaching at North Thurston High School for 14 years after receiving a Bachelor's in French from Western Washington University in 2002. During my undergraduate studies, in 2000 I had the opportunity to study French language and culture at Le Centre International d'Etudes Françaises in Angers, France located in the Loire Valley. After graduating from Western I also studied at L'Université Stendhal III in Grenoble, France the 1968 home of the Winter Olympics. In addition to my studies of French, in 2008 I received a Master's degree in Education and Technology from City University. I currently teach French I through French IV and continue to travel as much as possible. My latest trip was the summer of 2017 with 5 NTHS French students, and we had a blast in London, Paris, Provence, Florence and Rome! This year I'm also proud to be teaching UWHS French 103 in conjunction with the University of Washington as an adjunct professor. I'm looking forward to a great year and potentially a student trip to Quebec in June 2019!
