Professional Biography

  • I have been a teacher/FFA advisor at NTHS for over thirty years.  My formal education is through WSU and Whitworth College.  Degrees include Environmental Biology/Forestry/Agricultural Education. Industry experience centers on production forestry (logging and riparian work), and production agriculture.  At this time I  maintain a cowherd and a large swine operation.  This year I will be involved with a former student in his tree service/arborist work.
Checking family access (skyward) is the best way to check on your student's work, you can also use canvas.  Grades are kept current and work is posted within a week of due date.  Work not turned in shows up as zero with no percentage points.  Work can be made up in most cases with a loss of some points.  Test may be retaken.  I am available for students during classtime, and during office hours if students need one on one help. The link to my googlemeet is on canvas. You can also email me.
Syllabi for all classes are given out the first two weeks of school, they are on canvas.  They include subject outline and objectives.
