•  Professional Biography 
    In 1997, I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Education.  I have studied Spanish in both Mexico and Guatemala. In 2007, I graduated from City University with a Master Degree in Reading and Literacy. I have been teaching Spanish since 1998 and began my career at North Thurston High School in 2000. 
    I am also the  High School and Beyond coordinator for NTHS, a graduation requirement for all seniors.  Due to the pandemic, Class of 2021 do not need to complete the 20 Hours of Community Involvement. This requirement currently remains for Class of 2022-2024.
