All About Me

  • I grew up in Eastern Washington in Pullman, Washington. While there, I discovered my love for reading, exploring, and playing games with those closest to me. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my parents who currently reside in Pullman, my niece,  my tabby cat (Pip), my fiancé (Brian), or my best friends (Steph and Katie). I also enjoy hiking and watching movies.

I have been teaching special education in the North Thurston School District since 2018. I started teaching in the SCALS program in 2019. I graduated from Washington State University in 2018 with my BA in Elementary Education and an endorsement in P-12 Special Education. In April 2020, I also earned my MS in Curriculum and Instruction. I am beyond excited to work as a team with you to help your child work towards their social, emotional, and adaptive goals as well as in their areas of academic growth and progress.

Know that I see each of you as a team member and as the most important resource for your child’s success. I know that remote learning can seem a bit intimidating. Don’t worry. We will do it together!

Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns. I encourage two-way communication between home and school to help best address your child's needs. Email is always the best way to reach me.
