I have been in the education field since 1990. I began my career as a para-educator with the Highline School District. In 2000 I earned my bachelor's degree from Central Washington University and in 2004 earned my Master's Degree in Reading and LIteracy from Walden University. During the last 20 years I have taught 2nd through 6th grade in the Federal Way School DIstrict. In 2017 I relocated to Olympia and was hired at Chamber's Prairie where I am currently teaching 4th grade with an amazing team of educators.
I am married and have three amazing kids. My oldest son is an electrician, my daughter is a dog trainer and a nanny, and my youngest is a junior at North Thurston HighSchool.
I am excited to teach your student this year at Chambers Prairie and I look forward to getting to know you.
