This is my tenth year teaching Orchestra as a Certificated Educator. I hold a degree in Music Education from
Central Washington University,
and have studied conducting with
Dr. Paul-Elliot Cobbs, Dr. Jeffery Meyer, and Mr. Larry Gookin.
I have directed groups in the Central Washington University Preparatory Strings Program, including the Kittitas Valley Youth Orchestra, and in the Capital Area Youth Symphony Association. I am currently active in the professional music community, playing in many small chamber ensembles for weddings and other events. I have played as a section Cellist in the
Olympia Symphony for the last 10 seasons, and am a member of the Chinook String Quartet. I have worked as an arranger and compose music in my spare time.
