I have been teaching since 2005. I attended the University of Florida, earning my Master of Education with a specialization in Interdisciplinary Education. I began my career teaching fourth and fifth grades at a traditional school in Miramar, Florida for five years before being recruited to open Florida’s first public Montessori Center for students in Pre-K through 8th grades. There, I taught third through fifth grades in a multi-aged classroom that mixed the Montessori Method with state curriculum standards. In 2015, I moved here to Lacey, Washington to be closer to family, and became a Chambers Prairie Coyote. I taught sixth grade Science here at Chambers Prairie, and jumped at the opportunity to move to fourth grade in 2016.
I have two children of my own. They are the light of my life, as I know your children are so precious to you. I consider it an honor and a great responsibility to be charged with the education of our youth.
