Hello and welcome to Music!
I have been teaching string instrumets for decades and look forward to helping your student discover the joys of gaining a unique skill that they can enjoy for their entire lives. Whether they want to pursue a future in the arts, play for fun or just become a well rounded knowledable supporter of the arts, I welcome them to my classroom.
I hold a bachelors of Music Education from Pacific Lutheran University and a Masters in Classroom Management from American College of Education. I have been teaching strings for decades in the South Sound area and am active musician in the community. I am a violinist with the Olympia Symphony and also play for my church and other community organizations.
I look forward to helping your student begin their musical journey, where ever it may take them!
During virtual learning, orchestra students meet at 12:30 Mon-Thurs. The days they meet depends on their instrumentation.
Following orchestra classes, I teach general music classes all afternon. I hold office hours in the morning from 8-11 am.
