Professional Biography

  • I have been part of the educational world since 2011. First as an educational assistant and then as a Special Education teacher. I  graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education in the year 2017. My teacher career started while completing my student teaching, at which point I took over the Intermediate Life Skills program at Horizons Elementary.  This year 2019-2020, I continue with my posotion as a Life Skills teacher with students in the 4th and 5th grade.

About Our Classroom

  • We are a team of people (students and staff included) constantly learning and  growing together. Our focus is to create a classroom environment where all students feel safe and welcome. As staff, we hold high expectations for all students. We believe all students can learn. We believe all students can do everything. We believe all students can thrive.

Of course nothing could be done without you, parents and legal guardians. That's why it is so important to me, as a teacher, to establish open communication with you. Feel free to contact me at any time and with any concerns, questions, or comments you might have!
