Professional Biography

  • I have been teaching for fifteen years, and I've been at Komachin since 2016. This is also my fifth year teaching Health - I taught Language Arts before that. I have taught at both the middle school and high school level (most of my experience is at the middle school level).
I graduated from Weber State University (Ogden, UT) in 2004. I've lived in Utah, Arizona, Indiana, and now Washington. I love living in the West - there's so much to do out here.
I'm excited to be part of the North Thurston School District, and I'm looking forward to my experience at Komachin!!! I love teaching and interacting with the students on a daily basis. It's fun to see them get excited about a topic and to excel in class.
