Hello! My name is Madelynn Koehler and I graduated from Western Washington University in 2014 with my Social Studies B.A and endorsement in English Language Arts. I turned right around and went back to school to get my Masters in Teaching from WWU (Go Vikings!) and finished in 2016. I was hired during my student teaching at North Thurston High School where I taught 10th grade World Studies, 9th grade AVID, and 9th grade ELA. At the end of the school year I moved to Aspire to the position I am in now. I am excited to work with students who are headed to high school since I directly know what many students struggle with once they get there. I love traveling around the world, backpacking with my old college roommates, playing board games with whoever is up for it and hanging out in my backyard on a sunny Washington day. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions!
