Scott Gagnon

Professional Biography

  • Good morning/afternoon/evening! My name is Scott Gagnon and I will be teaching 6th grade Core and KEMS math this year at Salish Middle School. I am looking forward to rejoining the NTPS district as I am a product of it myself. I attended Horizons Elementary, Komachin Middle School and Timberline High School where I graduated in 2008. I attended Washington State University (Go Cougs!) where I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and an Endorsement in Middle Level Mathematics. Although I may be young, I have been teaching already for three years in the Tenino School District at TMS. There I taught a variety of 7th/8th grade CTE courses including Robotics, Game Design, and Digitools. In my last year in Tenino I taught 7th grade core math as well. Aside from my real job as a teacher I enjoy and am an active coach at all levels and all sports. In Tenino I coached baseball at the high school and volleyball and basketball at the middle school.
I am looking forward to a fun and exciting year at SMS along with the opportunity to meeting and working with all of you!
