Welcome to Mountain View Preschool

  • Mt. View Elementary is proud to be one of the host schools for North Thurston School District's Pre-K classes. Classes are made up of children who have special needs but also includes a few spots for typically-developing children to help students transition into Kindergarten. It is a great opportunity for all students aged 3-4 and a great environment to learn.
Our teachers are specialists in Pre-K teaching and the class sizes are small to give individual attention to students' needs. More information about the program on the district website. https://www.nthurston.k12.wa.us/preschool
Interested in Enrolling? Do you feel your child may need special support in their learning?
If you would like to enroll your child as an integrated student (typically-developing students), learn more about the Integrated Preschool.

  • Our Preschool program utilizes C-SteP (Core Skills Teaching education Program) in one of our classrooms. It is an intensive early learning preschool program for children on the autism spectrum. Students are taught pre-kindergarten readiness skills using evidence-based practices to develop social interaction, prek-academics, and life skills. We are a language rich classroom that facilitates the use of oral language, pictures, and phrase text equipment. Our staff is kind, caring, and encouraging while maintaining a structured and consistent environment.
