Professional Biography
-
I am a graduate from The Evergreen State College's Masters in Teaching Program. I am certified in both Spanish and Elementary Education. I believe in teaching so all students can be valued and learn. My previous teaching experiences include working for four years in Guatemala as an English teacher and teaching adults English through Olympic College's ESL program.
Spanish is very important to me and my family. In my home, with my wife, we are raising two bilingual children and we strive hard to help them conserve their home countries' culture. It is my challenge to convince high school students that it is a valuable asset for any graduate to have. It is my goal to foster a love for learning another language and compassion for people who are different.
