PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY
I have been teaching for about ten years, and I have been lucky enough to spend about half of those at Timberline High School. I have an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Montana State University, and a B.A. in English from University of Maryland. I have experience teaching overseas and on both coasts, but the Pacific Northwest and Timberline are my forever home. I am a passionate educator who believes that all students can succeed and grow in a learning environment that is stimulating, comforting, and in conjunction with their unique talents and abilities. Every day, I work to inspire a spirit of adventure and a love of learning in my students.
PERSONAL BIOGRAPHY
I am married to a wonderful husband and we have two children, ages 24 and 16. I love to travel, hike, camp, cook, and read. I also love quilting and live music. Every day, my intention is to brighten others' day, as that makes mine better too! I think it's important to live in the community where you teach, and I couldn't have found a better one!
