Appropriate Dress for PE
-
Students should come to class wearing clothing that is safe for movement and exercise.
- Footwear should include some type of flat bottom sneaker (no heels). Tennis shoes, or basketball shoes that lace-up are perfect. Velcro, or other fasteners are fine, as long as the shoes do not fall off (no sandals).
- Socks are also an important part of proper footwear. Regular, white tube socks are great.
- Pants, sweats, shorts, and skorts are preferred. Dresses and skirts should come with shorts, or tights underneath.
Professional Biography

Hello my name is Chris Cook. I have lived in Washington my whole life and grew up in Aberdeen, WA. After I graduated high school I attended Washington State University (Go Cougs) and in 2007 I received my Bachelor's Degree in Health/Fitness. Once I graduated I moved to Lacey and was a personal trainer for seven years working with a variety of different ages and needs. After training for several years I decided to finish my Masters in Education in 2015 from Saint Martin's University. This is my fifth year working at Meadows Elementary in the North Thurston School District. I am so privileged and excited to work in such a positive community environment such as Meadows! Go Mustangs!
