Graduated from Western Governors University in 2007. BA in education with a Social Studies endorsement.
I was born and raised in San Lorenzo, California. I served in the United States Army for 28 years. I am married to the former Miss Mary J. Gault we have three children and ten grandchildren. During my military career we have lived all over the world and decided to settle in Lacey, Washington. My hobbies and interest include, reading, history, spending time with my family and all sports, particularly football.
I decided to pursue a career in education because I have seen poorly educated populations and the effect this has had on their society. I enjoy social science subjects, particularly United States History. I firmly believe that education is the key to unlocking many of the world’s problems and issues.I have been teaching in the North Thurston School District both as a substitute and a permanent teacher since 2009
