I wanted to set up a place to post some updates while we are apart. I miss being in the classroom with you all! Here is a bit about what is going on in Mrs. Gans' world right now:
Your terrariums are going strong! (I haven't opened them or watered them.)
Lucky for me, Nola works from home, so I have her to keep me company. She says to tell you guys "Hi!"
We are making sure to get some exercise and fresh air, while social distancing away from other people. This was at Priest Point Park in Olympia.
Hello Horizon's Families! My name is Lauren Gans and I have been teaching at Horizons Elementary since 2013. I am an alumni of The Evergreen State College and received my master's degree in teaching from Heritage University. I have been a Pacific Northwesterner since birth and love skiing, traveling, taking my dog for walks, and losing myself in a good book. I am so excited to get to work with you and your child this year.
