After twenty-one years of raising children and being at home, I decided to go to school to become a teacher in 2008 starting at Tacoma Community College. I received a transfer degree in education and then graduated from the Grand Canyon University January 2014 with a dual major in Elementary Education and Special Education. My very first experience teaching was at Seven Oaks Elementary with the Special Education Preschool Program: C-STeP: Core Skills Teaching Program.
I am now in the beginning of my sixth full year of teaching and am excited to be part of the Meadows Mustang Teaching Team as one of two highly supported kindergarten (HSK) teachers. I am grateful for my assistant Amberley, her professionalism and care for our students is outstanding. We are a growing school, and I am especially glad that we have a team that is unified and has great expectations of a fantastic school year. We are here to work together to serve our students.
