This will be my 5th year at River Ridge High School. I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, followed by a Certification in Secondary Education. This year I will be teaching Biology. As an integral part of our communities, students deserve the best preparation available and I believe RRHS can provide that. I look forward to working with all the wonderful students and staff here at River Ridge High School! GO HAWKS!
BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR 100 PAGE COLLEGE RULED COMPOSITION NOTEBOOKS.
If you are able to buy more than the one you'll need for class and donate 1 or 2 for fellow students that would be much appreciated and will earn you your first bit of extra credit =)
Here are just a few things we do in our Science Interactive Notebooks (click the link below)
If you need help with an assignment there are SEVERAL opportunities for you to get help EACH DAY. These include Core/Flex time, before or after school, during lunch, and via email (I check several times per night). Below are a few choices for supplemental help.
Khan Academy: I suggest signing in with google (gmail) if possible. YOU DO NOT NEED AN ACCOUNT TO USE THIS, but I find it helpful
Brightstorm: a video database to help supplement in class discussions
Crash Course youtube channel
**This year I am a part time teacher and will not be available after school. If you would like to meet with me to review or discuss anything from class please be prepared to meet before school or communicate via email. Thank you!**
