I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Intercultural Studies from Biola University in 1990. In 1994, I obtained my teaching credential from Saint Martin University. By 1995, I received endorsements to teach elementary education, comparative religion, Spanish, and Special Education from Pacific Lutheran University. This is my 30th year in education, and my 20th year teaching Special Education at Timberline High School. Previously, I have taught at White River High School in Buckley and in the Federal Way School District. Working with students with special needs is something for which I remain extremely passionate. Helping special needs students improve their abilities, holistically, and become more autonomous is extremely rewarding.
