Welcome to the Woodland Library!
The Woodland Elementary library strives to ensure students are effective users and producers of ideas and information.
Our goals are to provide technology literacy instruction, provide access to resources in different media formats, and encourage a school-wide culture of reading!
WES is collecting library books beginning on Tuesday, May 26-June 18th.
Mondays 9-6pm/Tuesdays 11:30-12:30pm in front of the school. There will be a bin!

Teacher-Librarian: Mrs. Koehly
Greetings Woodland! The 2019-2020 school year marks my seventh year in the library! Before I came to Woodland, I graduated from Northern Arizona University, moved to Olympia and taught kindergarten in the Olympia School District. I received my school library media endorsement from the University of Washington in 2015. I love teaching information literacy, technology, and getting students excited about reading.
Library Assistant: Ms. Magee
Ms. Magee has been in the Woodland library since 2010 when her three children attended Woodland. She splits her time in the library and outside helping out at recess. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer and spending time with her dog, Pepper and her kids.
