From Principal Greer
Dear Olympic View Families,I am honored to serve as principal of Olympic View Elementary. Being a former NTPS student myself I have a close connection to our community. I value our Guiding Principles, a touchstone that directs our work:
- All children should be recognized for their unique strengths and gifts.
- We teach all children the skills they need to realize their potential.
- Those who are cared for will learn to care about others. We care!
- Everyone makes a difference. Let’s make it positive!
I am part of an experienced staff of professionals who focus on creating positive, robust and valuable learning experiences for our students. In addition to our strong reading, math, writing, social studies and science curriculums, students participate in outstanding music, physical education, art and library programs. Beyond the regular school day, students also have a variety of school clubs available to them including gardening, service, and ukulele. As you walk through the halls and classrooms of our school you will notice The Eagle Way posted and practiced throughout. The Eagle Way is a touchstone we use to teach safety, respect, responsibility, and cooperation to our students. Students who are following the Eagle Way are recognized with an Eagle Way ticket which earns individual and whole class incentives. Be sure to ask your students how they are practicing the Eagle Way.I am here to support you and your students. I value a strong working relationship between our school and our families. If you ever have a concern or question about our school or a complement about one of our staff members, please call, email me or stop by. My door is always open.Sincerely,Jason GreerPrincipalOlympic View Elementary School360-412-4660
Vice Principal Anderson
Welcome Mrs. Brittany Anderson, our new assistant principal, to Olympic View. Mrs. Anderson comes to Olympic View from Woodland Elementary, where she was their outstanding assistant principal for the past two years. Mrs. Anderson has a strong background in elementary instruction. At Woodland she taught 2nd and 3rd grades, and was their instructional coach and LAP teacher. Mrs. Anderson is here to support our students, families and staff as we transition back to 5 days a week of in person instruction. She is very excited to meet our wonderful Olympic View community.
Welcome to Olympic View, Mrs. Brittany Anderson!
