I am the Art Specialist for Meadows Elementary School. I started teaching here in 2001. I teach all grades from Kindergarten through Grade Five. I have a Master in Teaching Degree from Saint Martins University, and I am endorsed in both Art Education K-12 and Elementary Education K-8. I believe all children should have the opportunity to be creative every day, and their amazing art work always makes me smile. I teach a variety of art techniques at every grade level. The students will use different tools and materials such as paint, oil pastels, clay, fabric, markers, scissors, speed squares, and pencils. The students will create a variety of projects such as: drawing, sculpture, sewing, creating with clay, paper in a variety of ways, and printmaking. Every year I add a few new materials and change the lessons to keep everything interesting and fun for my students. I strive to have every lesson I teach be a successful lesson for every student. If you have any questions or would like to volunteer in the Art Room just email me or leave a phone message.
