In Our DistrictWoodland Elementary WellPower TeamLacey Elementary WellPower TeamWellPower 2017 was a great success! Over 350 staff members accepted the challenge and nearly 200 successfully completed!! During the WellPower Challenge, staff members are asked to complete at least 30 minutes of physical activity, 4 or more days per week for 6 weeks. This is a great motivator to get out and get active, build relationships with teammates in your building or department and reap the benefits of physical activity! Thank you to all who participated in this fun annual challenge! We are preparing to begin this year's WellPower Challenge and hope to have even more participants this year!! Who's with me??!Wow!! We had an amazing THREE HUNDRED TWENTY-SIX participants in our 2018 Hydrate for Health Challenge! This 30-day challenge requires that participants try to drink at least 64 oz. of water daily for at least 21 out of the 30 days! This can be very challenging for classroom staff who need to remain in the classroom most of their day! Great job to everyone who worked hard and improved their water consumption last month! I hope this helped to create (or get back to) a great daily habit that can have a huge impact on our overall wellness.
