Professional Biography

  • I was born in Kirkland, Washington and raised in Bellevue. I obtained my undergraduate degree at Corban University in Salem, Oregon. In 1999, I began working as a special education para-educator at Lacey Elementary.I obtained my Master's in Teaching degree from City University in 2006. I taught Kindergarten at Lacey Elementary, Evergreen Forest Elementary, and Seven Oaks Elementary.  I taught First grade at Lacey for one year, and then spent several years teaching Second grade. I am now happy to be returning to teaching Kindergarten.

Behavior expectations

  • We believe it is important for students at Lacey to follow key expectations. All students will learn in a positive, safe environment, free from distractions. The focus is on LEARNING.
