Welcome to the Horizons Counseling Office!
Hello, Horizons families! My name is Elizabeth Robinson, and I am the school counselor for Horizons Elementary. I understand that COVID-19 and remote learning has been a challenging obstacle to navigate. I am here to help make that process easier in any way I can. Please contact me directly for a referral for your child to our mental health specialist or for referrals to a provider in our community. Our counseling department is here to help support your child's social/emotional/behavioral needs and help connect your family to community resources.
About Ms. Robinson: I have my MA in Counseling Psychology from Saint Martin's University and my ESA certification in School Counseling.

About Mental Health Specialist Elizabeth Nelson
North Thurston Public Schools employs a team of 11 Mental Health Specialists to serve our students. Horizons Elementary has mental health services two days a week, provided by Elizabeth Nelson. Referrals are made by contacting either the school counselor or Mrs. Nelson directly. If you feel your child is in need of mental health services, please feel free to contact the school counselor or Mrs. Nelson. If you would like to talk about how you can support your child’s emotional or mental health needs at home, please feel free to contact me.
About Mrs. Nelson: I hold an MSW degree from Eastern Washington University an am a licensed associated independent clinical social worker.
