This Community Conversation was aligned with NTPS Strategic Plan Goal 4–Continuous growth - all students, all subjects, Outcome b, Increased growth rate at a minimum of one year for students at or above grade level and 1.5 years for students below grade level in math and English language arts, focusing on reading instruction and achievement.

This Community Conversation was aligned with NTPS Strategic Plan Goal 3–Critical thinkers and solution seekers, Outcome b, Increased percentage of students applying learning to collaboratively engage in solving relevant challenges within the classroom, school, and community, focused on career & technical education (CTE).

This Community Conversation was aligned with NTPS Strategic Plan Goal 2–Responsible, Resilient, Empowered Learners, Outcome d, Increased percentage of students open to and accepting cultural diversity, focusing on the question: Why does diversity matter? This Community Conversation took place during an NTPS School Board work session.

This Community Conversation was aligned with NTPS Strategic Plan Goal 5–Preparedness for Post-Secondary Success, Outcome a, Increased percentage of students passing classes in grades 6–9, culminating in an increased percentage of 10th grade students on track to graduate, focused on secondary grading practices. Panelists included high school and middle school parents and teachers.

This Community Conversation was aligned with NTPS Strategic Plan Goal 4–Continuous Growth – All Students, All Subjects, Outcome c, Increased growth rate for students experiencing personal and/or systemic barriers to achievement or opportunity, focusing on equity & inclusion in special education. Panelists included North Thurston Public School administrators, parents, students (former & current), representatives from Vocational Opportunities for Independent Community Employment (VOICE), the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, and more.

This Community Conversation was aligned with NTPS Strategic Plan Goal 4–Continuous Growth – All Students, All Subjects, Outcome c, Increased growth rate for students experiencing personal and/or systemic barriers to achievement or opportunity, focused on meeting the needs of our Latinx students. Participants included representatives from CIELO, North Thurston Public Schools staff and students panelists, and community members.

This Community Conversation was aligned with NTPS Strategic Plan Goal 3–Critical Thinkers and Solution Seekers, Outcome a, Increased percentage of students participating in at least one positive school or community-based activity. Participants included representatives from the City of Lacey Parks and Recreation Department, the YMCA, Thurston TOGETHER!, Thurston County 4-H, the Boys and Girls Club, and North Thurston Public Schools.

This Community Conversation was aligned with NTPS Strategic Plan Goal 5–Preparedness for Post-Secondary Success, Outcome C, Increased percentage of seniors with a High School and Beyond Plan that includes one of these: an acceptance letter to college, the military, trade/technical training, industry certification/apprenticeship, or verifiable employment. Participants included representatives from Lakeside Industry, South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC), Olympia Master Builder's Association, the Workforce Board, Junior ROTC, and North Thurston Public Schools.

This Community Conversation was aligned with NTPS Strategic Plan Goal 2–Responsible, Resilient, Empowered Learners, Outcome a, Increased percentage of students meeting social, emotional, and behavioral expectations. Participants included representatives from the Timberland Regional Library, the Hands-on Children's Museum, ESD 113, the Child Care Action Council, South Sound Parent to Parent, Pediatric Associates, and North Thurston Public Schools.

This Community Conversation was aligned with NTPS Strategic Plan Goal 1: Success in the Early Years.
