Safe, warm, and dry building upgrades
Thanks to the voter-approved 2020 bond, we have made upgrades to schools around the district to ensure safe, warm, and dry facilities:
Roof replacements at Meadows, Seven Oaks, and Horizons Elementary Schools
Three of the district’s older buildings received roof replacements with gutters, snow guards, and roof anchors.
New boilers at Horizons, Meadows, and Seven Oaks Elementary Schools
What keeps our schools warm in the winter months? A boiler the size of a hot water tank, powerful enough to heat 10 average-sized homes! As part of our bond promise, we replaced boilers and associated equipment at Horizons, Meadows, and Seven Oaks Elementary Schools. The new equipment will provide greater efficiency, dependability, and a longer life. Seven Oaks and Horizons also received mechanical upgrades.
Secure entrances around the district
We have installed secure entrances at many schools and continue to install entrances unique to school buildings’ needs and design. Secure entrances help ensure visitors check in at the front office of a school.
