     Course  Expectations

Drama I students are required to complete 10 lab hours in the theatre over the semester.  Each of the hours is worth 25 points, and students may earn these hours by working on the current school production.  Projects include ushering, scenic design and or construction, props collection, costume design and or construction, cleaning, and selling tickets at the performances.  Lab hours will be available as announced (usually 3 weeks after auditions for the fall show, immediately after school).

Students must submit 2 play critiques over the course of the semester.  Please encourage your students to view local high school, community theatre, or professional productions.  Please consult newspapers, websites and community organizations for performance dates.

Please check with your student to see the dates they have signed up to usher for Cinderella.  Performance dates are in November at 7:00pm.  For evening ushering, students should arrive at 5:30pm. They will be dismissed at 9:00pm.
