What is the Future-Ready 1:1 Program?

    All middle school and high school students at NTPS have a Chromebook issued to them.

    Starting the 2019-20 school year, all high school students will be assigned their own one-to-one (1:1) Chromebooks in protective cases. They will use the device throughout the school day to support learning and take it home for anytime, anywhere learning. Our middle school students have already been assigned their Chromebooks and the program's success allowed for rollout to high school students.

    At this time, NTPS has no plans to pursue a 1:1 take home program at our elementary schools. We have been adding additional classroom-assigned Chromebooks to each grade level, starting with 5th grade during the 2018-19 school year. The district will continue to expand access to our elementary students as funding and capacity permits.

    Moving Between NTPS Schools?

    If you’re transferring between different NTPS schools, hold onto your device.  When you start at your new school, that device will follow you in the checkout system.

    Moving Away from NTPS & Turning in a Device? 

    If your family is leaving the district this summer, please return your chromebook with its case and charger to the NTPS Service Center building at the self-service drop off station. If you lost your charger, see purchasing options. There will be instructions and a form at the drop off station that you’ll need to fill out when turning in your device.

    Need Summer Technical Support?

    NTPS Technology Support will provide limited technical support over the summer for our summer stay home devices.  You can return your chromebook to the self-service drop off station at the NTPS Service Center building. There will be instructions and a form at the drop off station that you’ll need to fill out when leaving your device for repair. It’s very important that you complete the contact information portion of the form so we can let you know when your repair is complete.

    Use the middle entrance named “Support Services” the self-service drop off station will be to the right as you enter the hallway. If you have any issues with the self-service drop off process, ring the doorbell to the Technology Support Services office opposite of the self-service drop off tower.
