Hello! This is my fourth year teaching preschool at Seven Oaks Elementary. I started my teaching career in Costa Rica at a private international school where I taught preschool-12th grade girls PE and coached volleyball, basketball, and soccer. Upon returning to the U.S. I taught a K-2 self-contained functional academics class, before teaching 1st grade for a year. I was a stay-at-home mom for 13 years, occasionally working part-time jobs while my kids were in school. I worked at Sylvan Learning Center, Learn and Grow Montessori (ages 2 1/2 - 6), and was owner/teacher at Successful Minds Tutoring where I taught preschoolers how to read using the Montessori reading program.I have my Bachelors from Western Washington University in Elementary Education and Special Education with an endorsement in Physical Education. My Masters is from City University in Educational Technology.
