Birth to 3 Education at North Thurston Public Schools

  • From birth to 3 is a crucial time in the development of young minds. The Early Intervention Program serves children from birth to three years of age who need extra developmental support in key areas. Children who qualify for services after screening receive early intervention at no cost.

We partner with South Sound Parent to Parent for screening & evaluation in these areas:

    • vision
    • hearing
    • cognitive skills
    • expressive social/emotional skills
    • adaptive skills

Early intervention services are designed to meet each child and family's individual needs and may include:

    • home visits
    • parent-toddler groups
    • daycare visits
    • consultations
    • collaboration with private therapists and medical professionals in the community

For information about an initial screening, please contact South Sound Parent to Parent by calling 360-352-1126 or by visiting their website: http://www.ssp2p.org.
