Professional Biography

  • This will be my 29th year of teaching Middle School Math. Time flies when you are having so much fun! I graduated in 1992 from University of Montana with a B.S. in Education and a Minor in Mathematics. Additional education includes a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership (Lesley University, 2000) and an Administration Degree (City University, 2007). My first 10 years in education was spent in Maple Valley, WA teaching middle school math. In 2002, I moved to Lacey and joined the Komachin Family In addition to teaching math, I'm also the ASB Advisor and coach all four sports at Komachin. It is truly a privilege to be part of the Komachin Family and the Lacey community. I have a 24-year-old son who is working on his Law Degree. For fun we like to travel, snorkel, and yes, we are HUGE DENVER BRONCO FANS!!

This year I'll be teaching 3 sections of Algebra, 1 section of Geometry , and 1 section of Pre Algebra.

Please feel free to email me regarding any concerns. I'm truly looking forward to a fantastic year!
