Summer Scholars 2024

  • Programs run in July and August. There is no cost to participate.

    2024 Programs

    • Elementary (grades K–5): Pleasant Glade Elementary
      • July 8–August 8 (5 weeks), Monday–Thursday, 8:30 am–12:30 pm
      • Invitation only (families will be contacted with an invitation & sign-up information)
    • Middle School STEM Camp (grades 6–7): Timberline High School
      • Session 1: July 8–18 (2 weeks), Monday–Thursday, 7:45–11:45 am
      • Session 2: July 29–August 8 (2 weeks), Monday–Thursday, 7:45–11:45 am
      • These sessions are currently full - all applications are added to a waitlist.

    • Transportation is provided from home middle school (for grades 6–12) and home bus stop (for grades K–5)
    • Locations: Pleasant Glade and Timberline High School
    • Breakfast & lunch are provided


2024 Summer Scholars Transportation

  • Summer Scholars transportation depends on the grade level. Grades 6–12 utilize a shuttle system running from NTPS middle schools, and grade K–5 students use their home bus stop.

    Students should arrive at their bus stop at least 5 minutes early. Any times posted are departure times.

    Grades K–5 Summer Scholars Transportation

    Elementary students will utilize a bus that runs from their regular home bus stop. Times for pick-up and drop-off will be available in the Smart Tag Parent Portal. The bus will travel to Pleasant Glade Elementary.

    Grades 6–12 Summer Scholars Shuttle Times

    There will be a shuttle that runs between middle schools and Timberline high school. Shuttle stop locations, pickup and dropoff times will be posted here closer to the start of Summer Scholars.
