I have taught in the district for 27 years at both the middle and the high school level. My passion is providing young adults the opportunities to explore their strengths and how they can apply them towards fulfilling and productive lives. I believe that families are the first classroom and parents are the first teachers. Together we build a student's foundation for a meaningful and rich future.
My educational background includes graduating from North Thurston High School and earning an Associates Degree from South Puget Sound Community College. I continued on to earn my Bachelor's of Science in Home Economics at Washington State University and a Master's Degree in Education/Counseling from St. Martin's University. I'm proud of the education our district provides students and honored to be a part of that.
