Student Ambassadors Welcome New Students to NTPS
Student Ambassadors Clubs at North Thurston HS, River Ridge HS, and Horizons Elementary work together to create connectedness for the "new kids." Through lunch buddies, school tours, staff introductions and community projects, Student Ambassadors strive to help all students feel welcome, make new friends, and get all the school info they need. Free and confidential nonmedical counseling is available to service members, Department of Defense expeditionary civilians, their families and survivors. Child & youth behavioral counselors are available to support children and youth up to age 18. They also offer guidance to families, staff, and support personnel.
