Welcome to the Counselor's Office at Meadows!

  • Greetings Meadows Families,

Thank you for visiting our counseling corner! Did you know that school counselors wear several hats?! Some of those hats look like assisting students with their social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs. I am also the 504 accommodations coordinator for our building for students who may need some accommodations within the classroom setting. I get to do individual brief/solution focused counseling and small group counseling, which is one of my favorite things that I get to do in my job! I get to build relationships with students and teach coping skills, and self-regulation strategies. I can also provide resources in our district and/or community for things such as basic needs, mental health counseling, and parenting education. I also get to teach our Social Emotional Lessons for the Child Protection Unit when we are in person to all Kindergarten and 5th grade. I love getting to work with our students and being a part of the Meadows Community. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or would like to know more!

I hold a Master's Degree in Education and Counseling, and a Washington ESA certificate in School Counseling from St. Martin's University. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Central Washington University, majoring in Sociology and double minoring in Psychology and Family Studies. Before working in counseling, I worked for several years in Early Childhood Learning and the English Language Learning Department in a neighboring school district. I am passionate about helping children and families thrive. I look forward to working with you!
