I have been teaching art at Lacey Elementary for a long time.  15 years, I think.  Before that I was at Olympia High School and before that, Zion Preparatory Academy in Seattle.  I received my degree from Washington State University.  I have also attended Oregon State University and the Evergreen State College.  In addition to teaching art, I also paint professionally.  I have displayed work throughout the Northwest.

 

I love the art that kids produce.  There is nothing more honest and sincere than the paintings children create.  They constantly inspire me.
